The Flower Parade Zundert originated in 1936 as a parade with decorated bicycles and floats on the occasion of Queen Wilhelmina’s birthday. It was an immediate success, and despite the fact that the flower parade did not take place during the years of the war, after the war the event rapidly developed into an event of international standards.
